Why the party is important

A heirachy in constant flux, at any point the bouncer, dancer, dj is central, folding in on itself, with the spotlight being fixed and people stumbling underneath, everyones feet on the floor.

stage fractured into multiple podiums

The ricochet of the song going from dance floor to pocket to party to party through spoken word, shazam, saved notes, leaning across the decks, out the speakers, ears, feet feet feet

the mix in opposition to on demand isolated / personalised iPod listening, certain frequencies of certain songs speaking to different people, taking your turn for your song

no clocks

friends circles split and envelop others, edges of groups begin to overlap, with more and more complex patterns developing as the night moves forward

collective pulse of 50khz electricity , beats per minute ,
a space of potential

tactile communication

a cyclical dependence of dj to speakers to dancers to dj, keeping it going, party is a volleyball

warmth, people becoming both radiator and reptile
